Patty

Patty is a 4-year-old from Clinton, IA diagnosed with Stage 3 Wilms Tumor. She was taken to the ER with constipation, abdominal pain and vomiting. Scans revealed she had a tumor on her kidney the size of a grapefruit going into her abdomen. This required removal of the kidney as well as chemotherapy and radiation. Her mom was told that the radiation she received will likely make it so she is unable to have babies in the future because of her ovaries being harmed.
