Zach

Zach is a 13-year-old from Bettendorf, IA who is diagnosed with osteosarcoma. His shoulder began to hurt and swell, despite medication and therapy. An x–ray was done, prompting an MRI, confirming osteosarcoma. Zach started treatment at Mayo which included undergoing an arm amputation.
